Matty is installed

Been busy with the work and new kitchen so haven't been checking in for a while. We took out a wall and everything down to the bare studs. New from the floor to the ceiling - all it takes is money - lots of it!
But, we've saved for a long time to get it done and wife deserves it. Just a few details to complete and the contractor will be done. It's been been 11 weeks so far.

Matty was completed several months ago. I installed her yesterday (6/18) and wife cooked breakfast for the first time. WOW - been some time getting to this point. She sure generates some heat.

Found a recent post on how to adjust the pilot light with the safety valve installed so I'll get that done in a day or two.

When doing a kitchen remodel I learned a few things like what's the most used area of the kitchen that you take for granted? The kitchen sink! Try doing without one for 8 weeks.

Great shots Ron. Can't wait to see pictures of Matty all dressed up and ready to cook! On your stove top, were you able to buff & clean your top and avoid replating? Whatever you did, she really shines. You did a great job, congratulations!

I polished the durachrome top for approx 4 hours. Knobs didn't need any polishing.

I'll post more pics in a few days.
